The OleumTech® Wireless Discrete Transmitter features two discrete (digital) inputs for connecting to a dry contact or open-drain output/NPN source for notifying state changes. This input can be set for normally open or normally closed. The Transmitter can also report transition counts. The DJ1 utilizes on-delay exception reporting method and users can set the debounce filter ranging from 20 ms to 2000 ms to control just when the state change occurs.

As a safety measure, regardless of state change, this device reports to the Gateway every five minutes. The Discrete Transmitter provides removable wiring terminal blocks in its junction box housing to facilitate the wiring process.


The Discrete Transmitter relies on power from a replaceable battery. The system is engineered to achieve maximum battery life, providing +7 years of life from a single battery.


Designed for use in Class I, Division 1 (Zone 0) hazardous locations. The DJ1 is intrinsically safe, meaning it cannot a cause a spark and can be serviced without being removed from a process.


The Discrete Transmitter is configured using BreeZ Software by OleumTech, provided free of charge.


The DJ1 communicates with an OleumTech Wireless Gateway within its network, creating a highly scalable network, accommodating virtually any I/O requirement.
