The OleumTech® RT1 and RT2 RTD Temperature Sensor Transmitters are ideal for monitoring air, gas, water, or liquid temperatures with high accuracy of ±0.1 °C. The RT1 direct mount version includes a 4-wire Platinum 100 ohm sensor where users can select the length ranging from 2 to 18 inches. It supports temperature ranging from -65 °F to 500 °F (-55 °C to 260 °C). The RT2 multi-vendor version provides a junction box and wiring terminal board for accepting a third party 2, 3, or 4-wire RTD sensors. The temperature output can be reported in Fahrenheit, Celsius, or both.

These Transmitters rely on power from a replaceable battery. The system is engineered to achieve maximum battery life, providing +7 years of life from a single battery.

Designed for use in Class I, Division 1 (Zone 0) hazardous locations. The RTD Temperature Transmitters are intrinsically safe, meaning they cannot a cause a spark and can be serviced without being removed from a process.

The RT1 and RT2 feature a 32-character local LCD display for instantly reading process data, battery voltage, and RF strength (RSSI). When the display is set to configuration mode, users can set all of its parameters, perform calibration, and connect to a network just using the push button interface without the need of any configuration cables.

The OTC Sensor Network is managed using the BreeZ Software by OleumTech, provided free of charge. The RTD Temperature Transmitters can be configured using the push button interface or BreeZ Software.

The RT1 and RT2 communicate with an OleumTech Wireless Gateway within its network, creating a highly scalable network, accommodating virtually any I/O requirement.
