REAL-TIME HIGH LEVEL DETECTION
The OleumTech® High Level Switch Transmitter provide two actuation points for detecting high and high-high liquid level conditions. The Transmitter can also report transition counts. This top tank mount Transmitter is designed for use with an OleumTech high level switch. The switch is sold separately so that users can select the desired length and choose single or dual actuation option. The HL1 utilizes on-delay exception reporting method and users can set the debounce filter ranging from 20 ms to 2000 ms to control just when the high level detection occurs. As a safety measure, regardless of state change, this device reports to the Gateway every five minutes. The High Level Switch Transmitter requires no wiring. The switch simply attaches to the wiring terminal port in its junction box housing.
The HL1 features a 32-character local LCD display for instantly reading process data, battery voltage, and RF strength (RSSI). When the display is set to configuration mode, users can set all of its parameters and connect to a network just using the push button interface without the need of any configuration cables.
The Transmitter relies on power from a replaceable battery. The system is engineered to achieve maximum battery life, providing +7 years of life from a single battery.
Designed for use in Class I, Division 1 (Zone 0) hazardous locations. The HL1 is intrinsically safe, meaning it cannot a cause a spark and can be serviced without being removed from a process.
The OTC Sensor Network is managed using the BreeZ Software by OleumTech, provided free of charge. The High Level Switch Transmitter can be configured using the push button interface or BreeZ Software.
COMMUNICATES WITH WIRELESS GATEWAY
The HL1 communicates with an OleumTech Wireless Gateway within its network, creating a highly scalable network, accommodating virtually any I/O requirement.
