WIO® WIRELESS SYSTEM
The field-proven WIO® System is an end-to-end wireless remote monitoring infrastructure that enables organizations to improve operational efficiency and productivity, reduce costs, and meet regulatory compliance requirements. Our System is comprised of Wireless Gateways, Wireless Transmitters(Sensors), I/O Expansion Modules, and user-friendly BreeZ® Software.
We offer two versions: the WIO® Base Unit and WIO DH2. Both Gateways wirelessly collect data from end nodes and are equipped with RS232/RS485 serial ports for communicating with backbone SCADA systems (RTU/EFM/PLC/HMI) via Modbus. Multiple Gateways can be added to a same network for sharing data (peer-to-peer) communication. The Base Unit provides onboard I/Os and I/O expansion capabilities.
The WT Series Wireless Transmitters are equipped with local displays for instantly viewing process data as well using the LCD for configuration. This means no cables, tools, or PC is required to program the device. The WT Series Transmitters provide the same high level of safety, precision and reliability as its predecessors without a local display.
We offer a comprehensive line of Wireless Transmitters for monitoring various conditions including liquid level, pressure, flow, temperature, and triggering set-point alarm. These devices are self-contained, battery-powered, eliminating the need for external power. Additionally, these products are intrinsically safe for use in hazardous locations while providing seamless integration with third-party devices.
By utilizing our Wireless I/O Modules, additional input or output points can be added to a WIO network over RF. These devices can be used for wireless fail safe, valve control, wellhead, emergency shutdown systems as well many other industrial process monitoring and control applications. The Wireless I/O Modules are designed to communicate with a Wireless Gateway in a network (point-to-point). The Wireless Multi-I/O Modules also has Modbus Master Read/Write capabilities.
Multitude of I/O Expansion Modules are available including Modules with analog input/output, discrete input/output, temperature input, and pulse counter input functions in both wired and wireless versions.
WIO devices are managed with the user-friendly BreeZ® Software. It allows users to create a network, add devices to a network, define parameters and set transmission intervals for each device. It also allows users to create a Modbus mapping table so that the collected data can be polled by a Modbus Master device such as an EFM, PLC, HMI, DCS, or RTU that is connected to a Wireless Gateway.
The OleumTech Hardwired Sensors are ideal for installation into existing infrastructure where conduit or wiring is already in place. We offer both Modbus and Level Master ASCII versions.
